ST’s SPIRIT1 high-performance wireless transceiver boasts an outstanding receiver sensitivity of 120 dBm combined with an extremely low current consumption. This enables SPIRIT1-equipped applications to operate for up to twice the time without replacing the batteries. The transceiver also supports advanced technologies such as frequency hopping, auto-acknowledgment and antenna diversity to secure error-free data transmission even in harsh-environmental or challenging-logistical conditions. ST’s LED2000 is a monolithic buck switching regulator designed to operate as accurate constant current source targeting applications such as LED flashlights, portable LED torches, MR16 bulb replacement, as well as general/architectural lighting. It can be used for current-mode, fixed-frequency buck switching regulators operating with an input voltage range from 3.5 to 18 V, providing an output current up to 3 A with accurate regulation, so it is ideal for high brightness LEDs. The synchronous rectification and the very low feedback voltage (100 mV) maximize LED-driving efficiency and the dimming pin enables effective PWM dimming. More
ST’s ultra-low-power STM32 L1 series based on the ARM® Cortex™-M3 core has been fine tuned to operate at even lower powers with better performances. For example, power consumption in Standby mode with RTC is as low as 0.9 µA and the temperature range has been extended up to 105 °C (versus 85 °C). The STEVAL-IHT001V2 demo kit allows you to evaluate the thermostat using dedicated PC software to set the control parameters, configure the thermostat for the different versions (basic, defrost, air circulation), acquire variables during tests and customize the system. ST’s new EMIF02-SPK03F2, a 2-line EMI filter and ESD protection device, offers high-power audio for smartphones. With an ultra-low DC resistance of 0.07 ohm, the device sustains high audio currents, provides strong ESD protection and high efficiency EMI filtering, reaching -53 dB attenuation (under Zsource of 2 kΩ and Zload of 20 kΩ). Housed in WLCSP2x3 package in less than 1.15 mm², it is the most integrated solution on the market. Thanks to the same footprint, designs with the widely used EMIF02-SPK02F2 can be easily upgraded with the new EMIF02-SPK03F2. More

 
The LIS3DSH is an ultra-low-power high-performance 3-axis linear accelerometer with two embedded finite-state machines. These programmable blocks allow the user to implement customized motion-detection-based applications with a high level of flexibility. The microprocessor workload is reduced by moving programming inside the sensor. The LIS3DSH has selectable full scales of ±2g/±4g/±6g/±8g/±16g and it is capable of measuring accelerations with output data rates from 3.125 Hz to 1.6 kHz. More
 
The TLVH431 is a low-power, programmable (1.24 to 18 V) voltage reference that operates with a current range from 100 μA to 60 mA, making it ideal for the new generation of high-efficiency SMPS and battery-operated applications where space is at a premium. It features initial precision as high as 0.25% and guaranteed temperature stability over the entire operating temperature range. It is available in SOT23-3L, SOT23-5L and SOT23-6L package options.
